The manner in which Sue Cavanaugh talked about water always resonated with me. In one of her interviews Sue shares how water in a river is changing second by second, minute by minute; and so too, our lives. Over the years we still resemble ourselves but we’re different, our actual cells are changing along with a myriad of other intricate aspects of who we are. The woman is partly submerged in water with her hands open to what her life was, is, and will be. It’s a surrender, allowing the river to take those stories and loved ones to new shores.
